Solar Power Midwest is an Illinois solar and home-energy contractor based in Naperville, led by owner and president Dave Sonner. Dave has been improving Illinois homes since 1993, starting with energy-efficient windows and siding, and added solar in 2001. Today we serve homeowners, farms, and commercial property owners across Will, DuPage, Cook, Kane, Kendall, and Grundy Counties. Our sister company, Renovate Right 365, LLC, handles windows, siding, and home remodeling, so a single relationship covers the whole home.
Our approach: efficiency first, then solar
Most solar companies push as many panels as possible. We do the opposite. We start by finding out why a home is losing energy, through its windows, siding, and HVAC efficiency, and make it as efficient as it can be first. Then we put solar on top of that foundation. The result is a smaller, more efficient system that costs less and performs better.
